Nigerian Technology Company Builds Mobile Platform Connecting Students With Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges Across Taraba State
JALINGO, Taraba State — Accessing reliable information about higher education institutions can be challenging for prospective students, parents and other members of the public, particularly when information is scattered across different websites and platforms.
To address this challenge, Crownmatrix Technologies Limited has developed Taraba Campus Finder, a mobile application designed to bring information about universities, polytechnics and colleges across Taraba State together in one platform.
The application is available on the Google Play Store and is presented as a digital campus discovery platform for people looking to find institutions across the state.
One App for Taraba's Higher Institutions
According to its Google Play Store description, Taraba Campus Finder allows users to “Find all Taraba State universities, polytechnics & colleges in one app.”
The platform is designed around institution discovery, giving users a central place to search for and explore information about higher education institutions within Taraba State.
For students preparing to make decisions about their education, having institutional information accessible from a mobile device can make the initial process of discovering schools more convenient.
Improving Institution Search and Discovery
Crownmatrix Technologies has continued to improve the application since its release.
The latest update listed on Google Play was released on August 2, 2026, with improvements focused on making the platform easier to use.
The update included:
-
Improved institution search and discovery
-
Updated school information and links
-
Enhanced performance and stability
-
Bug fixes and general improvements
These updates indicate an ongoing effort to improve the application's usefulness as a central source for discovering educational institutions in Taraba State.
A Digital Solution Built for Taraba
Taraba Campus Finder represents a more localised approach to educational technology.
Rather than attempting to provide information about institutions across the entire country, the application focuses specifically on Taraba State, making its purpose highly targeted toward students, parents and residents interested in educational opportunities within the state.
The platform can potentially serve as a starting point for students who want to identify institutions before proceeding to official school websites and admission channels for detailed requirements and application procedures.
Developed by Crownmatrix Technologies Limited
The application is developed and published by Crownmatrix Technologies Limited, a Nigerian technology company based in Abuja with a portfolio covering software development, web applications, mobile applications, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies and automation.
Taraba Campus Finder forms part of the company's broader portfolio of mobile and digital solutions.
Other applications listed under Crownmatrix Technologies Limited on Google Play include Taraba e-Result, Jala Connect - Our London App, Crown Radio: Nigeria FM Live and Radio Taraba.
The company's broader technology portfolio also includes projects in healthcare, fintech, real estate, media and enterprise software.
Focus on Local Digital Innovation
One notable aspect of Taraba Campus Finder is its focus on a specific Nigerian state.
Digital platforms designed around local needs can help bring information and services closer to communities, particularly where users may otherwise need to search across multiple sources.
For Taraba's growing student population, the application provides a dedicated digital space for discovering higher education institutions across the state.
The application is rated 3+ on Google Play and its current listing indicates that it contains ads.
Data and Privacy
According to the developer-provided information on Google Play, no data is shared with third parties.
Google Play also indicates that the application may collect personal information, messages and two other categories of data. The platform states that data is encrypted in transit and that users can request deletion of their data.
These disclosures are developer-provided and may be updated as the application evolves.
Technology Supporting Education Discovery
The development of Taraba Campus Finder demonstrates how mobile technology can be applied to address information-access challenges at the local level.
For a prospective student, the journey toward higher education often begins with a simple question: Which institutions are available, and where can I find information about them?
By bringing institution discovery into a single mobile application, Crownmatrix Technologies Limited is seeking to make that first step more accessible to users across Taraba State.
As the platform continues to receive updates, its development also highlights the growing role of Nigerian technology companies in creating digital products designed around specific community and regional needs.
